Hi! i'm new on PCBSD and a couple of days ago i did a fresh install of
version 1.4.1 on a Desktop computer but i can't finish to fully
configure it, the problems started when i try to configure the network
(xl0 interface) using the wizard for it: i set a fixed IP and when i
click on "apply" button the system rebooted, when it started again i
get this sound error:
"Error while initializing the sound driver
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (no such file or directory)"
the mouse freezes, and network configuration was unset :S
I solved the mouse problem with sysinstall but the network wizard stop
working, i can open it but i can't modify anything because is not
recognizing root password, however root password is ok because i can
use it for other things. If i configure network with ifconfig, on
reboot the changes are lost...

The computer is a HP d325 Microtower Desktop PC
Network adapter: 3Com 3c9 20B-EMB Integrated Fast Etherlink XL (xl0)

If you need more information of the computer, please let me know

Thanks!
