I think it's a bug in KDE Kamera. I've downloaded the command-line tool - gphoto2 frontend^ # pkg_add -r gphoto2 # rehash Then you can use the commands to transfer photos and videos from your camera using the 'gphoto2' command(with appropriate parameters, of course :)
