PC-BSD needs to be installed on a primary partition, so you may wish to
install it first.

At this time I'm unaware of a way to share /home between the two. PC-BSD
uses UFS filesystem for its partitions, while Ubuntu will use Ext3 or
Reiser or some other linux specific partition.
