I have a T440p here with Optimus switchable graphics (Intel Haswell
and Nvidia).

I have not got the nvidia driver to work and and Intel Haswell is as
of my knowledge unsupported , but WIP, so I am running X11 in vesa
mode, which I am kind of unhappy with at the moment, as I cannot
operate two external monitors.

The rest works fine.

Punctuation matters:
"Lets eat Grandma or Lets eat, Grandma" - Punctuation saves lives.
"A panda eats shoots and leaves" or "A panda eats, shoots, and leaves" -
Punctuation teaches proper biology.

"With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not
necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to
land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly
overhead." (RFC 1925)
