Yea, I've seen that here as well. As far as I can tell its a bug in
Chromium.

I had the same issue with Chromecast here. I had to remove my profile,
and then re-link to my google account. When I did that, I clicked
"Advanced Sync" options and disabled it syncing extensions to get around
it trying to re-install Chromecast.
