The i18n support for FireFox 3 hasn't hit ports yet, just the old 2.x 
version is there:

We may need to ask the maintainer if they can updated it to 3 here soon.

As for the script, what exactly is the problem? Is thunderbird not 
opening links properly? It is fine here, it launches whatever my default 
browser is in KDE. (Its FF3 right now)
