when a noob installs pc-bsd, he/she doesn´t know what kate is.
later he/she needs a script editor. pc-bsd ist for noobs and not for kde
or freebsd specialists.
i like it when a os comes minimalistic with the base installation. but
it has to be easy to install, the editor the user want.
