What about adding some options for powersaving to the next dev builds?

/etc/rc.conf opts:
performance_cx_lowest="LOW"    # Online CPU idle state
economy_cx_lowest="LOW"        # Offline CPU idle state

/boot/loader.conf:
hw.pci.do_power_nodriver=3
