[PC-BSD Dev] libVTE bug & its PC-BSD impact?

I'm sure you've all heard about the libVTE bug (if not, see
http://climagic.org/bugreports/libvte-scrollback-written-to-disk.html for
more info).

Does this affect us over here in FreeBSD-land? If so, what can we do about
it (other than switch terminals:)?
