Hmm... I've used to think that BOOTWAIT in make.conf (or src.conf) is responsible for that. May be I'm mistaken with it and the ticks are responsible for this timeout. I'll read the manual. :)
As for me, that seems that boot0 takes about 10 seconds that's why I've wrote about 4-5 seconds. I'll check it.
