 App=rsync;Network;http://images.pbidir.com/progicons/grsync.png;Wayne Davison;http://rsync.samba.org/;GPL;Text;Backup, sync, file;rsync uses the rsync algorithm, which provides a very fast method for bringing remote files into sync. It does this by sending just the differences in the files across the link, without requiring that both sets of files are present at one of the ends of the link beforehand. This makes rsync a good remote file distribution/synchronization utility in a dialup PPP/SLIP environment;YES;
 App=sdlCC;Games;http://images.pbidir.com/progicons/sdlcc.png;sdlCC Team;http://jcatki.no-ip.org/CC/;Unknown;Graphical;game,board,chinese,checkers;This is a Chinese Checkers game, it has 5 AI players, and can easily support more for any hackers out there. It uses SDL and runs great in plain X11. It has some fun effects to liven things up a bit.  Multiplayer is supported on the same computer, although a net player would not be hard to add given the plugin player feature.;;

+App=ssvnc;Network;http://images.pbidir.com/progicons/ssvnc.png;Karl J. Runge;http://www.karlrunge.com/x11vnc/ssvnc.html;GPL;Text;vnc,ssh,network;The Enhanced TightVNC Viewer package started as a project to add some patches to the long neglected Unix TightVNC Viewer. However, now the front-end GUI and wrapper scripts features dwarf the Unix TightVNC Viewer patches (see the lists below).  It adds a GUI for Windows, Mac OS X, and Unix that automatically starts up STUNNEL SSL tunnel for SSL or SSH connections to x11vnc, and then launches the TightVNC Viewer to use the tunnel. It also enables SSL encrypted VNC connections to any other VNC Server running an SSL tunnel, such as STUNNEL, at their end. It can be used to perform SSH tunnelled connections to any VNC Server as well. The tool has many additional features (see below for a list).  The short name for this project is "ssvnc" for SSL/SSH VNC Viewer.;;
 App=uMurmur;Audio;http://images.pbidir.com/progicons/umurmur.png;uMurmur Team;http://code.google.com/p/umurmur/;BSD;Server;mumble,VOIP;uMurmur is a minimalistic Mumble server primarily targeted to run on routers with an open OS like OpenWRT. The server part of Mumble is called Murmur, hence the name uMurmur.;;
 App=vsftpd;File Transfer;http://images.pbidir.com/progicons/vsftpd.png;Chris Evans;http://vsftpd.beasts.org/;GPL;Text;ftp;vsftpd is an FTP server, or daemon. The "vs" stands for Very Secure. Obviously this is not a guarantee, but a reflection that I have written the entire codebase with security in mind, and carefully designed the program to be resilient to attack.;YES;
 App=wavbreaker;Audio;http://images.pbidir.com/progicons/wavbreaker.png;Timothy D. Robinson and Thomas Perl;http://wavbreaker.sourceforge.net/;GPL;Graphical;audio,wave,splitter;wavbreaker is a tool to take a wave file and break it up into multiple wave files. It makes a clean break at the correct position to burn the files to an audio CD without any dead space between the tracks. It will only read wave files, so use an appropriate tool to convert Ogg, MP3, etc. files and then break them up. The GUI displays a summary of the entire wave file being worked on at the top. There is also a command line tool to merge wave files together (wavmerge). This tool will only work on files that are alike. For example, 44100 khz sample rate, 16-bit sample size, etc. (use sox to convert files first if necessary).;;
